Welcome to NOACA's Interactive
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Portal

NOACA’s Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is the short-range implementation tool for the agency’s Long-Range Transportation Plan. The TIP:

  • Budgets and schedules federally funded highway, transportation alternatives and transit projects in the NOACA region.
  • Is updated every two years by NOACA, and may be amended quarterly.
  • Contains transportation projects proposed by governmental sponsors, including local communities, county engineers, Ohio Department of Transportation and transit operators. Projects range from road resurfacing and bridge reconstruction to traffic signal upgrades and bus purchases.

This interactive TIP portal contains the projects included in NOACA' state fiscal year (SFY) 2018 - 2021 TIP, June 2017. The portal provides searchable access to project details and funding status of transportation projects. Project data is available through mapping and printed reports. You can also use this portal to comment on new project funding applications being considered by NOACA.

The Search TIP tab
allows users to search for projects by name, project type, project sponsor and other criteria. It’s a useful tool for finding projects quickly and easily. From those search results, you can order detailed PDF reports for a single project or for multiple projects.

The Map tab allows you to find projects by clicking on a map of the region.

The Public Comments tab contains a list of projects that are undergoing review and will be considered for NOACA funding. There you will find detailed project information and can leave comments on individual projects.

The Document Library tab contains a pdf of the SFY 2018 - 2021 TIP, approved by the NOACA Board of Directors June 9, 2017 (a.k.a. Current TIP).  The tab also contains TIP related documents, including Resolutions, Technical Amendments and SFY Annual Priority Lists.
